Through the CUET 2022 exam ( formerly known as CUCET ), NTA will provide admissions to 12 central universities. Candidates who qualify the CUET exam 2022 will be allotted seats in the participating universities during the counselling process held by individual universities.

After giving CUCET you will get into only 12 universities. Not all colleges accept CUCET scores for admissions.
So if you want other colleges than these you will have to give JEE main.
