GK is compulsory and has reserved 100/400 marks in CMAT. It is advised to prepare well as this is make or break for getting into top colleges , GK section savesa lot of time and gives you an opportunity to score well. In Current GK, you may expect questions from these broad areas: Economy Business & Corporate News Indian Politics Organizations New Developments in Science & Technology People in News Sports Miscellaneous Mythology World News and current affairs. Depends on how much score you want to score GK carry 25% weight in CMAT. It carries 100 out of total 400 marks. So without GK, you can score a maximum of 300 only.

Yes, GK is a compulsory section in CMAT. The total marks of the section is 100 and carries 25 questions. Unlike MAT, CMAT GK section carries equal importance as that of other sections.
