Well,JEE Advanced is an exam in which if you want to do well,then you have to develop some proper thinking and problem solving skills.
HC Verma and I.E.Irodov are without a doubt very good books.However,nothing can guarantee such a statement that they would be enough to score 90% marks in JEE Advanced.What you need to learn from those books is how to grasp the concepts,understand the theory and proper application of the same when solving the question.
Develop the ability to think and relate,try to create similar questions and understand the very essentials.
You'll end up scoring good marks only if you have proper question solving practice and ability to understand and analyse the given problem.
