Minimum 40% i.e. 40 out of 100.

• 40% in theory part that is 40/100.
• In practical courses or courses include a practical you need 50% minimum (50/100)
• And in assignments 50% that is 50/100. But don't worry in assignments you'll always score more then 60% (60/100).

For example — if you scored 40/100 in theory and 60/100 in assignments.

Then your final marks for that course are—

70% of 40 = 28

30% of 60 = 18

Total = 46.

( And in IGNOU 1.49 is 1 & 1.5 is 2 )

So if your final percentage is 59.49 . You passed with Second Division.

Or if your final percantage is 59.50 . You passed with first Division.
