Hope you are doing good. Your question could have been better answered if you specified as to why you need a gap certificate. However, normally, you never require any certificate as such. Mostly in case of job requirements, the organization might ask for an affidavit which you need to produce. But all that is required only when required.

So, in short, if you have taken a gap year, and currently you are not sitting for placements or do not require for any reason whatsoever, then, don't bother to produce one right now. You will need to produce it, only when required and producing at an early stage will not help as dats are mentioned.
