Is it compulsory to have maths in 12th for pursuing BCA/MCA?

Dear,

There is not any compulsion to have maths in 12th. You can pursue BCA without maths. But you will have to study maths as a subject in BCA. So as far as I know, BCA curriculum will be having a mathematics based subject so when you will approaching for your Master's degree (MCA) that eligibility gets covered in BCA. But there are some universities which need maths in 12th. So  kindly check the eligibility of that college before you proceed.

not some I found most n somewhere all collegea in lucknow have an eligibility of having maths n it's totally confused me.

Hey aspirant

The eligibility for admission to Bachelor of Computer Applications varies from college to college. You'll easily get several colleges which intake applications from the students passing 10+2 from a recognized board with English as mandatory subject, while only a few mention Mathematics a necessary subject for admission.
