If you keep Mathematics in your B.COM (//B.COM) hons course then you can get benefited in some other courses like M.COM (//M.COM) and MBA. In this courses you need some mathematics for some applied statistics portions. In those cases may be you didn't need rigorous mathematics but in the coursework having information regarding the Mathematics will obviously increase your chances for a fluent career.
