Hi aspirant
If you get any good or desirable college than go for it, because dropping year is sometime a wrong choice but if you are getting any college than you should drop and prepare for UGAT.

UGAT tests you on your knowledge in English, Numerical and Data analysis, Reasoning and Intelligence, General Knowledge, Service Aptitude and Scientific Aptitude. With little practise, you can actually easily crack this exam. But before dropping a year, you should gauge your performance so as to assess your current knowledge. May be once you write the exam, you an analyse where you stand in your performance and you will know whether you need to drop a year or not. This is important because 1 year matters a lot.
