Hello,
Yes definitely it is good to make notes for 12th board exams along with jee mains as it will help you at the time of revision.You can revise all the concepts and formulas with the help of your own notes.
You can start making notes through the ncert book....pick up those lines which looks important and write notes.Areange all the formulas of pcm and write them.Make notes of the conceptual problems,organic reactions,nomenclature,derivations available in the ncert book.

Yes it is very important and it is a very good thing to make the short notes of your syllabus of NCERT. because this would help you in actually revising all the things quickly at the time of the JEE mains and other competitive exam as well and sometimes during the boards exam you don't get so much time to actually revise from the books,so at that time then notes comes into the rescue. so do prepare the notes of each and every topic.
