Hi there,

In my opinion, DC Pandey is a good concept building practice book for NEET. The concise text, shortcuts and the MCQs are more than enough to score good in NEET.

Sometimes you might feel some of the concepts which are not useful for NEET but it definitely allows you to build strong grasp and brush up your ability to solve with accuracy and speed which is most important for NEET exam.

For Boards, I would recommend to try Dinesh or SL Arora. However, please don't forget to go through minutely with NCERT Physics especially it's back exercises and solve them once with clear understanding about the concepts.

Hi

Objective DC Pandey for Neet is a good book to prepare for your Neet examination as it has :-

  • Chapterwise theory with diagrams, tables, figures, etc.
  • You get variety of questions to practice like single option correct, matching types, Assertion reasons, etc
  • Also it contains previous 8 Years Questions of NEET, CBSE AIPMT etc

but yes,
when it comes to board examination then you cannot rely on it as:-
  • In board examination subjective type of questions are asked which are not there in objective physics by DC Pandey for Neet
  • also, in objective DC Pandey for Neet,  there are not derivations which are very important from board examination point of view as derivations are very often asked in board examination

So, for board examination you should follow other books like SL Arora etc

Thank you

fareeha hc verma is mainly for engineering aspirants, questions of that difficulty level is not asked in neet, so going through objective physics for Neet by DC Pandey is more than sufficient for Neet examination
