The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India has announced that students will now have the option to either appear for the July exam or directly opt for the CA November 2020 session. Students will be required to apply afresh for the November cycle and their exam fees will be adjusted accordingly.

In view of the COVID-19 situation, the ICAI came out with an “Opt-Out” scheme by which students could opt out of the examinations in July and attempt the same in November this year. ... Nearly 3.46 lakh students have registered to take the CA examinations scheduled from July 29.
