DEAR ASPIRANT,

There is no such rule that we should take january attempt compulsory.So, you can directly go for april attempt. As of now u are in the preparation stage so,my advice is to prepare jee mains by following some tips and tricks mentioned in the below link

Hey aspirant
It is not compulsary to write both jee .you can either write any one of them or you can write both.if you write both of them best percentile will be used for rank calculation.if you write only march one percentile of march exam will be used for rank calculation
