If you are asking about the admission into these courses in UG then my answer is yes. There are many entrance tests conducted by private institutions and they take admissions upon the basis of merit basis.
If you want to do bcom or BBA from government institutions then your admission will solely depend upon your academic and sport weighatge ( if any )
