You haven't mentioned for which counseling you are talking about. Please specify it in the comment section below so I can help you.

Like if it is about the NEET counseling, for AIQ which is conducted by MCC you are not required to register for first round if you want to participate only in second. As per the counseling rules it is given by mcc that you can make a new registration for the process in second round. But it is advised to go for the first as well as the registration portal is yet not closed.

If you are talking about comedk then it is not possible to take part in second round direct. You have to go through the first round.
