Yes it is necessary to write and qualify joint entrance examination (JEE) main 2020 to be eligible to write joint entrance examination (JEE) Advance 2020. We cannot use joint entrance examination (JEE) main 2019 score to be eligible to write joint entrance examination(JEE) advance 2020.

Hello student yes it's mandatory to qualify this year jee main to appear in jee advance 2020. As its a national level entrance examination for admission in top engineering colleges across the country. The entrance examination conduct every year and cut off vary every year on various factors like the level of question in the entrance examination and total number of applicants in that examination so 2019 results are not valid anymore to appear in jee advance examination 2020.
Application for jee main April examination starts from 07th of February and extended till 12th of March 2020.
Eligibility - candidates must passed or appearing class 12 with physics chemistry and mathematics with minimum 75 percent marks aggregate from a recognized board.
