Yes, it is necessary for candidates like to pursue CA under direct entry admission after Graduation or Post Graduation must start their Articleship Training before they  appear for the Intermediate Level (IPCC).

Candidates are required to finish 3 years Articleship Training under a certified CA (which is equivalent to internship).
