Hello aspirant,

BASLP is Bachelors in audiology speech language pathology. It is a four year degree course. It is multidisciplinary with core subjects of Language pathology and Speech pathology. The allied subjects are electronics, linguistics, accoustics, statistics and psychology. 

DHLS is the diploma in hearing language and speech. It is a one year long course. This, in no way stands equivalent to BASLP. But if you still want to pursue carrier in this direction, you can go for it, teach yourself along the course, and prepare for entrance exam of post graduation in some good college. 

If you are fine with dropping an year, you can go for this option as well.
