Actually NIFT Eligibility criteria varies from course to course, to be eligible for Bdes one should have completed their Class 12 from a recognised board with passing marks to be eligible to appear for NIFT entrance exam 2020. Aspirants should be below 23 years of age for NIFT admission 2020. So yes , being a biology student you are eligible for NIFT BDes but you are not eligible for NIFT BFtech as to be eligible for it,  aspirants should have completed their Class 12 from a recognised board with Physics ,Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
