to become a RAW agent, candidate should take group A civil services exam under the central staffing scheme they should clear all stages of civil service examination and qualified candidate are allowed to write raw examination. While people from other government departments are also recruited in raw. Maybe you come from military background but still you have to qualify the exam to get into RAW.
