For getting into some good colleges like TIER1/TIER2/TIER3. All you just need to prepare well for the course coming in exams,  revise, practise different types of questions, Solve previous years question banks and papers. Then you need to maintain timings for solving each question which will help you in your final examination. Also just look into the pattern of the exam paper of the University or the Institute you are going to take admission in.
