Hello,

Due to pandemic many JEE aspirants deprived of giving JEE ADVANCED exams in the year 2020 and 2021.chances of 3 rd attempt is given to those who did not appear for the test in 2020 and 2021 or one of them.they can directly apply JEE ADVANCED without giving JEE MAINS.
