Hello sanchit,thanks for asking this question on this platform.actualky everything has two sides as if you want to go for in any multi national company then taking a drop for a good college will be really beneficial but if your aim is somehow different then this will be your waste of time and energy.thanks

That totally depends upon you. You should not rely on someone's opinion for this decision. It will be good if you think that within a one year of time you can be able to make yourself to crack the IIT-JEE examination with good score and if you are taking a 1 year drop for testing yourself or just simply trying for the IIT-JEE examination then my advice for you is to not to take the drop Because it nothing goona help you anymore in anyway. So better think accordingly and make the judgement with yourself that will be the better option.
