Learning CSE in CEG will give you a better option to attend interviews in high paying companies. That said, you should not only see your CTC but also check work life balance and job description before joining so that you get job satisfaction after you join. In my opinion it is better to study CSE if you want to get placed in IT companies. If you won't come to the IT side then ECE suits you better.
