Dear Aspirants ,
According to the placements it is not worth because as per previous years placement record of ELECTRICAL and ELECTONICS Engineering then placements  figure is not good but its not mean there is no opportunities or companies are not hiring .The placements and off campus hiring of EEE is little bit slow as compared CSE ,IT ,ECE ..But if you are interested in core branch and want to grow your carrier in core branch then you can defiantly go through that .Because our interest is playing biggest role to grow our carrer .
