JoSAA counselling is not for everyone. It has been set up to conduct a common counselling procedure to manage the seat allocation for admission in different participating IITs, NITs, IIITs, IIEST, and other technical institutions. There are some eligibility criteria for it. Only students who have qualified the JEE Main or JEE Advanced can participate in JoSAA counselling. In addition to this, they are also required to qualify the eligibility criteria of the participating institutions.
