Hi naresh,

A human resource person should be,

A pure Engineer or Arts graduate is unlikely to fit the bill.He should have reasonable knowledge about the industry, wage scales, competition, technology, marketing challenges, technological evolution etc.As we grow further in this profession it's desirable to acquire higher qualifications from ISTD, NIPM as well as foreign certifying bodies like CIPD, SHRM, HRPA, IHRM etc.

Knowledge, Skills, Attitude and good People Skills have indeed an overbearing weightage over Qualifications.
