hello Aspirant,

Following the various cheating incidences and malpractices that have taken place during the pre-medical entrance tests in previous years, the conducting body, NTA, has set a number of strict guidelines in order to avoid further happening of such malpractices.

According to those guidelines, candidates are supposed to wear light clothes. The clothes should not have any metallic objects or buttons on them. No jewelry or accessories are allowed. Slippers or low-heeled sandals should be worn. Therefore, candidates should not be wearing or carrying anything that arouses suspicion. As o having long nails, there can be ways of hiding any recording devices or communication devices beneath them. So it is advisable, that candidates cut their nails short and avoid any risks of being prevented from giving the exam in lieu of violation of the prescribed dress code and may be due to your long nails it affect you thumb impression as well, as you won't be able to press properly. so for safer side make sure your nails are not to long to create any kind of disturbance in your exam.
