Are you serious? do you really think that you can clear UPSC with a thin Lucent book. Bro Lucent is like a glass of water from the sea, from that book you can only estimate some basic knowledge only.

If you really want to crack the UPSC then at first start with the NCERT books from 6th class to 12th, once you have complete this part then try to explore other books from different authors and meantime keep revising NCERT also.

You can select some reference books also written by S. Laxmikant, Bipin Chandra for History, you have to read the separate books for Ancient India, Medieval India and Modern India. Same for Geography and Polity also. Keep other reference for Environment, Economics, Science & Technology, and social issues and new policies.
