Hi Swetha,

According to the basic rules, marathi is not compulsory to study in GAC nagpur. But there is always a constant procedure that this college proffesors teach most of the concepts in Marathi and it becomes mandatory to know Marathi to keep in track with the concepts and the procedures. As this college is located interiorly, people habitating there are used to speak in their own mother tongue. Unless cities like mumbai, pune people also speak in hindi but in cities like nagpur marathi is like the only language people speak more than languages like hindi or english. Therefore it is better to learn marathi if you are planning to study BAMS in GAC nagpur.
