MAT and ATMA both are different exams Difficulty level of ATMA is too low One can easily achieve scores of 95percentol in it.But these exam is nowadays degrading it's quality and many top colleges like JBIMS are not accepting scores of it. So ho for MAT rather than ATMA

ATMA 

Subjects of ATMA are 

• Verbal skills 
• Analytical reasoning 
• quantitative skills 

MBA 

Subjects of MBA are:

• verbal skills
• quantitative skills
• analytical reasoning skills and
• indian and global environment

otherwise the exam pattern is same and preperation is also same.

 Exam pattern of ATMA consists of Verbal Skills, Quantitative Skills, Analytical Reasoning sections.

Same sections also consists exam pattern of MAT, with Verbal Skills being called as Language Comprehension, Quantitative Skills being called as Mathematical Skills and Analytical Reasoning section broken up as Data Analysis & Sufficiency, Intelligence/Critical Reasoning. Besides these three common sections, there is an extra section in MAT: Indian and Global Environment.
Therefore, with same exam preparation, you can appear both in ATMA & MAT. This is also possible, because schedule of ATMA & MAT exams does not coincides.
