Thanks for A2A

With regard to the syllabus followed at major NIT's and IIT's, there are few subjects which covers the basics and some depth portion in the domain of Automobile Engineering.

Subjects like

1. Kinematics of Machine will study in 2nd Year

2. ICE engine will study in 3rd Year

3. Automobile Engineering (some institutes offer this subject) in 3rd Year. Eg MNNIT Allahabad

4. Machine Design in 3rd Year

But if you are majorly interested in automobile engineering

Then I would recommend you not to rely much on the curriculum and to prepare by yourself.
