     Yes mechanical engineering is worth for every student as it is an evergreen field and can be chosen by any if he is average or brilliant. It all depends upon your interest not on your intelligence level. You can score good if you are an average guy and can even get good placement. Just you have study from beginning only. Try to learn concepts and you will get very good marks.
