No there are related at beginning but at the end of your mechanical enginnering college they are diffrent, you will be free to choose as you career , in many college material science nd anano technology are not avalable so you have to opt for mechanical engineering.

Namo technology is diffrent path totally later after the basics. There are colleges who gives cources in Nano technology where you can apply if you wish.
