Hello there,

M.Ed (Master of Education) is available in both regular and correspondence (distance) modes.

1. Regular M.Ed:

  • Duration: 2 years (Full-time)

  • Conducted by universities and colleges through classroom teaching, practicals, and internships.

  • Admission is based on entrance exams like DUET, BHU PET, IPU CET , or merit-based.

    2. Correspondence/Distance M.Ed:
  • Duration: 2 years

  • Offered by institutes like IGNOU , KUK , Annamalai University , and Bharathiar University .

  • Admission is usually merit-based or based on work experience in the education field.

  • Suitable for working professionals as it allows flexible study hours.

Both modes are valid for teaching and educational administration jobs.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries, then feel free to share your questions with us, we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you, and I wish you all the best in your bright future.
