Now talking about DR MGR UNIVERSITY,as per me it's a decent university.It has been Grade A accredited by naac.

Since college was established in 1988,so you will find a good alumni network.

College infrastructure is concerned is good and they are working on it more n more.

Faculty and course curriculum are also decent.Specially faculties are of various iits and anna university.

You will also have a good campus life,here most of the students say that,they have enjoyed their best 4 years of their life when they study here.

Value of money is also there if you can perform upto the mark.

Now the main part ie placements for which every engineering is always concerned about.So here to be honest the placements are dull,try to take cse/it branch over here,other branch lacks placement here,infant you may end up getting 15k-17k per month.But again everything depends on you,because today there is a need of skilled engineer rather than bookworm.
