Nowdays as competition is very high therefore various different factors are taken into account while giving someone opportunity. So that companies may check various things nowdays not only your current academics are check but also some past records may also get checked because how consistently you are good in academics this thing the company have to check.

Therefore as you mentioned may be 12th or 10th records will be checked during the campus interview. But I think it will affect only 5 to 10% on your campusing because they will firstly checking your attitude and your knowledge which you have at the time of interview so if you are passed  12th then don't take any type of tension about that but if you are pursuing 12 th now then study seriously and try to get good marks in 12 th definitely it will help you during placements and also the basic knowledge that you get from 12 th is always helpful you in the life.

the course of class 12 and class 11 lays the foundation for any higher course. only if you get good marks in class 12th, then you will definitely be filled with motivation and will be willing to do better in the entrance exams.

thinking other way, class 12th results only play a role to clear the eligibility criteria for the exam.

there's a minimum percentage that you have to cross to appear in the exams but always try to do better than that.
