No NEET is not compulsory.You can take admission in biotechnology either through jee mains or few exams or can go directly based on your class 12th marks.
You can opt for aiims biotechnology,for students who want to pursue their career in biotechnology mathematics is compulsory with physics,chemistry and biology as subjects.
