newton school of technology is a relatively new institution and whether it is the best depends on various factors ,

while comparing to various BTECH institutions like IITs,NITs, IIITs etc

if your goal is core engineering like (mechanical engineering, civil , computer science , electrical etc ) then IITs , NITs, or private universities like Manipal ,or VIT. are better options

if you want a tech-focused software oriented career then NST can be a good alternative especially for programming and full stack development one of the more pros of the institution is that it gas a good placement opportunities like other institutions like IIT, NIT  etc .
