Yes, National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) is recognized by all universities and educational institutes in India.

So it is also accepted by the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R Medical University.

The following categories of candidates are NOT ELIGIBLE to apply for B.N.Y.S. Course.
a. Candidates who have passed H.Sc. in Vocational Stream and private candidates or who have passed Pre-University Course or candidates who have passed through Open Schooling.

Jibin Adoor Do I understand by this that after completing 12th from NIOS, I will not be able to pursue BNYS!
