Is Nios board is acceptable for admission in iiit Allahabad

To get admission in Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad, you need to give JEE Mains Exam.

Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main is the national level undergraduate engineering entrance exam conducted by National Testing Agency for admission to B.Tech/B.E. programmes in 31 NITs, 23 IIITs and 23 CFTIs.

As per the JEE Main Eligibility Criteria-

Private Students/ NIOS Board Students are Eligible for JEE Mains 2019.

But for admission in IIITs, you need to secure minimum 75% marks in class XII or equivalent exam or be in the top 20 percentile in their class XII exam conducted by the respective board.

For SC/ ST candidates, the eligibility criteria is to secure 65% marks in class XII or equivalent exam.
