Hope you are doing well!

Non-living things are not sensitive and do not respond to stimuli. Metabolic reactions constantly occur in all living things. These metabolic reactions along with sensory and neurons in living organisms make them respond to external stimuli.

Although there is development of AI in the present generation, which let non-living things be responsive.
Voice recognition system.
Stimuli sensitivity in electrical applications.

Hello

Non living things are not alive . They do not cells and do not grow and also do not show any movement. Also they do not undergo metabolism . They don't have life. So non living things don't respond. Examples of non living things are stone , pen , pencil , book , bottle.

Hope my answer will help you

Thank you
