No, OBC and SC are not same .OBC is other backward caste and SC is scheduled Caste and the cutoffs for OBC and SC category will be different.

Obc stands for other backward backward classes and BC stands for Backward classes both are same so don't get confused in this short term because they write BC because it itself means backward classes. So both are same
