Is OPtical communication and visible light communication the same ?

Hope you are doing good.


NO . Optical communication and Visible light communication (VLC) are not the same. VLC is a part of optical communication, where only the visible portion (380 to 750 nanometers) of the spectrum is used for communication, where as the Optical communication uses the whole optical band (UV, Visible, Infrared) for communication.
