let me clear your doubt. yes physical fitness.  is Necessary for nda exam. This is the Physical criteria for NDA are: height and weight are according to the BMI. Minimum acceptable weight is 157.5 cm for army and 162.5 cm for Air force

Also their other checkup to see whether you are physically fit or not.
