Is plus one mark required for TNEA engineering admission?

Hello.

The eligibity criteria specifies that a candidate must have a minimum of 50% in 10+2, so your +1 scores will most probably not be considered for any of the procedures.

Hello shoukath,
Only for marine engineering class 10th marks is considered however for the other branches only your 12th aggregate percentage is taken into consideration.Here is the eligibility criteria.
1) Candidates should pass the HSC (10+2) or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
2) Candidate should obtain the 50% (General category), 45% (Backward class including backward class Musilm), 40% (MBC and DNC) and 40% (SC/ST/SCA.
3) Must pass with minimum average marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry together.
