Yes it is necessary to get your admit card signed by a Gazetted officer .So in this case you are taken the signature of your principal . It is mandatory to get your admit singed by a gazzeted officer ( principal) That is main proof to be considered you as a student of that particular institution .

For AP EAMCET hall ticket, you can get it attested by a Gazetted Officer if it is not possible for you to get it attested by the Principal of your College. Either of them is acceptable.
