Yes it is in the syllabus and very important topic

As it correlates various practical scenario using equations

To understand how the displacement of particle takes place while following projectile motion

Yes projectile motion is an important topic of the jee mains syllabus and i guess you can complete it easily if your basic concepts of motion is clear from ncert books.
