In my opinion just solving basic problems od RD Sharma gave me a steep improvement in my math percentile from 86% in Jan to 96% in April in 2019. Its a wonderful book for me, expect the same for all..

It's all depends upon you that how deep you go through the concept and how much knowledge yoh have about the concepts.

RD sharma is a good book no doubt at all.

But you should practice new and different question for which you should move to some other good books also which provide you a ample of questions for practice  You should start with NCERT and can move to the ADas Gupta ,cengage learning , arihant by amit m aggarwal and you should join a good test series which help you to analyse your progress.

Because as many questions and different questions you will solve your concepts get stronger.
