As For the A.P Eamcet if you have studied for  6 Consecutive years in the same place then not required but if you study in different areas then you should need the residence certificate to claim the local status, there is reservations as per the 371D Article in constitution there will be 85% Local and 15% Non Locals.

So if you have Study Certificate in Same Region from 6-10th class then ok otherwise take residence certificates.
