is st Thomas college of engineering a good place to study? how are the placements there?

It's really a good college but when coming to placements as we've known that due to some consequences this year that would be less and I checked their website too and previous year the offers were pretty good. And also one more thing I want to say, CSE got more offers than any other branch. My intention is not dissatisfy you, but worthy candidates got placement.

I will be opting for EE. Are the placements good for this branch in st Thomas?

yes, you can have good future ahead by undertaking EE. Infact in government sector, it is. But if you want to get into private like placements( software side ) you need to have good coding skills, technical skills etc.., it's all depends upon your dedication.

my target is to get into NTPC with this branch.. can I get that kind of knowledge here so that I can realise my dream?

Piyush, yes you can get that valuable information about electrical in EE. With that knowledge, you can really get into National Thermal Power Corporation and can have good future.
